“What an absolute gem in the southside! The food was incredible and genuinely authentic Sri Lankan cuisine”

Our story
A husband and wife, and their family recipes
Sameera and Saumi moved to Glasgow in 2012, after an aunt in Stirling first brought them to Scotland. In November 2024 they opened Ceylon Tea Bar on the site of an Italian café they used to love.
The idea is simple: cook their own family recipes and bring a wee bit of Sri Lanka to the southside.
